Terms of Service

Betelgeuse is an online merchandise store operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. All products are printed on demand by our production partners and shipped worldwide. You can reach us at hello@betelgeuseshop.com.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must place the order and accept these Terms on your behalf. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:

• Break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems or other users' data.
• Interfere with the Site's operation, including by introducing malware or automated scraping that degrades the service.
• Place fraudulent orders, use stolen payment credentials, or abuse promotions or discount codes.
• Reproduce, resell or commercially exploit Site content without our written consent.

We may refuse service, cancel orders or restrict access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these Terms.

Every item is made to order. Because products are printed individually, minor variations in colour, print placement and garment shade between the mock-up images and the finished item are normal and are not defects. We work to keep product descriptions, sizing charts and photos accurate, but we do not warrant that they are error-free. If a product you receive materially differs from its description, see Section 8.

All items are subject to availability of blank garments from our print partners. If a garment becomes unavailable after you order, we will offer a comparable alternative or a full refund.

When you place an order you make an offer to buy. Your order is accepted — and a binding contract formed — when we dispatch the item or confirm acceptance by email, whichever comes first. We may decline or cancel an order (for example due to a pricing error, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud) and will refund any payment taken.

Please check your order confirmation carefully and contact us immediately at hello@betelgeuseshop.com if anything is wrong. Because production starts quickly, we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order is submitted, but we will always try.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise and may change without notice; the price charged is the one displayed when you order. Prices exclude shipping, which is shown at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or VAT your country charges on delivery.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. By paying, you authorise us to charge the total shown at checkout, including shipping.

Production typically takes 2–7 business days before dispatch; estimated delivery windows shown at checkout or on product pages are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers to the address you provided. If a parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Undeliverable parcels returned to us due to an incorrect address may be reshipped at your cost.

Because every item is custom-printed to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind or wrong size selection — please check the size guide before ordering. However, if an item is faulty, damaged, misprinted or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and we will replace it or refund you in full, including reasonable shipping costs.

Nothing in these Terms limits your non-excludable statutory rights. UAE consumers retain their rights under Federal Decree-Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, and US consumers retain all rights under applicable federal and state law, including the right to remedies for goods that are defective or not as described.

All content on the Site — designs, artwork, logos, photography, text and the Betelgeuse brand — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws in the US, the UAE and internationally. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or use any of it without our prior written permission, except to browse and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Checkout and payment are provided by Shopify, production and fulfilment by Printify and its print partners, and delivery by third-party carriers. Their own terms may apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from the Site.

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This does not affect the statutory warranties and consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded in your jurisdiction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses (including lost profits or data) arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in this section excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under US state law or UAE law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Consumers in the United States keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of their state of residence, which apply alongside these Terms to the extent they cannot be waived.

We encourage you to contact us first at hello@betelgeuseshop.com so we can resolve any dispute informally. If that fails, disputes may be brought before the courts of Dubai, UAE, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.

• Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision; the Terms in force when you order apply to that order.
• Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
